Nanotechnology Professor Jin wook Lee and Hyundai Motor Company initiate joint research and development project
Professor Jin wook Lee of the Department of Nanotechnology and the Sungkyunkwan Advanced Institute of Nanotechnology have commenced a collaborative research project with Hyundai Motor Company's Advanced Technology Institute for the development of perovskite solar cell commercialization technology.
Both parties signed a memorandum of understanding for the industry-academia collaborative research project in May, and they have started developing perovskite tandem solar cells using vacuum deposition processes.
Professor Lee's research team plans to develop key source technologies for the commercialization of perovskite solar cells through close collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company's Advanced Technology Institute in the future.
