□ 30 scholarship students from the student council 思源 in Tsinghua University visited SKKU on Aug 30th (Tue), in order to learn about the differences of Confucianism between Korea and China, and share opinions for the development of Confucianism. Under the program 思源, the university selects 30 out of 300 freshmen students with excellent records each year, to cultivate leaders for the next generation in China.
□ The students of Tsinghua University looked around the old Sungkyunkwan, the home of Korean Confucianism, and visited the College of Confucian Studies and Eastern Philosophy. The Dean of the College, Jeong Geun SHIN, welcomed them and said the “Role and duties of leaders of the next generation like you, is very important to inherit and develop traditional Confucianism.”
