Last February 29th, the SKKU Global Business Administration Department was introduced on ‘EBS Admission Hotline’ a television program on the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS).  The purpose of this program is to introduce different university majors to high school students. The first episode of ‘EBS Admission Hotline’ was about Global Business Administration and SKKU was the primary university featured. The SKKU Global Business Administration Department is focused on the global market and nurturing the next generation of global leaders to lead international companies.

Our University’s freshmen orientation was shown on the program.  At the orientation, a 100% English Global Business Administration class was conducted for the freshmen to sample what it is like.  Global Business Administration students can study not only Business Administration, but also majors that help students advance humanistic knowledge such as Philosophy, Western History, Science History, Music, Art, and Art History.  Moreover, a student venture club where they can apply the knowledge they have learned in the real world was introduced.  A short video message from the alumni of Global business Administration who entered esteemed graduate school overseas and international companies was also shown.

Ms. Ji Min Park, a senior student in Global Business Administration, visited the EBS studio as a guest and gave an interview.  She said, “This major is attractive because it provides a similar study environment as a foreign university without going abroad.”

The episode will be provided by EBS through their replay service soon.
