Sungkyunkwan University(SKKU) President Chung, Kyu Sang, on Dec. 1 (Tue) attended the 3rd Korea-Russia University President Forum conducted by the Korean Council for University Education, and discussed with presidents of principal Russian universities on the topic of 《Strategy for Exchange Cooperation between Universities of Both Countries》.
In this discussion, President Chung introduced the excellence of SKKU’s Academy of East Asian Studies(AEAS) and IBS as well as fields of natural science & engineering. And he emphasized that actual exchange has to be made to promote joint research exchange cooperation with Russian universities and between professors of the fields of studies.
Futhermore, in separate meetings, he shared the opinions with presidents of principal Russian universities that were attending the forum, like Moscow State University, Far Eastern Federal University, Saint Petersburg State University, Nizhny Novgorod State University and others to push forward with student exchange, joint research and faculty exchange.
