Former President of India visited to SKKU 2011.11.29

The company of H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, and Skand R. Tayal, the Indian Ambassador in Korea, visited Natural Science Campus in Suwon and had conversation with Vice President Hyun-soo Kim over technology development for energy and mutual cooperation.

 

H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam, the 12th Indian President (2002.07~2007.07), is also a scientist called “the Father of Nuclear Energy Technology in India.” He has been the best veteran in India in the field of science technology by leading projects such as the first satellite launching.

 

H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam looked around Energy Science Department and SAINT and showed his interest in research achievement of energy science technology and nano-science technology.

 

For this visit, the Indian Professors and 40 students in Sungkyunkwan University welcomed H.E. Dr. Abdul Kalam, their former President.
