<March 28th, 2019. Award Ceremony of SKKU Distinguished Fellow>

SKKU conferred SKKU Distinguished Fellow to President DO Jin-Sa of Miyako Group on March 28th at the 3rd floor of the 600th Anniversary Hall.

Distinguished Fellow is conferred to people who are acknowledged of raising the reputation in the nation and society under the founding philosophy of SKKU or people who have special contribution toward the development of politics, economy, society, culture and international cooperation. The awardees will be treated with respect equivalent to an alumnus of SKKU.

President DO Jin-Sa is the son of ex-President DO Sang-Yong, who had donated 2 Billion Won to SKKU in 2010. He is a 2nd generation Korean-Japanese entrepreneur who graduated from Waseda University in 1981 and became Presidents of Miyako Group, Dong-Ah Auto and Choongang Corporation. 

President Dong Ryeol SHIN said, “President DO Jin-Sa has contributed greatly to the business cooperation between Korea and Japan. We confer the Distinguished Fellow to President DO for his continued effort toward the development of our university.”

Over 100 guests from different organizations joined the ceremony.
