Dr. Shankar Prasad, Assistant Provost for Global Engagement and Strategic Initiatives of Brown University, visited SKKU on Aug. 29th (Mon). He had a meeting with the president, SKKU Graduate School of Governance, and SKK GSB to discuss possible ways to cooperate between the two universities.
At the meeting, the two universities agreed on collaborations of dual degree programs of the Graduate School of Governance, student exchange of SKK GSB, and a summer internship program. Also, they discussed collaborations in engineering, especially the Bioengineering field which SKKU and Brown University highly focus on.
Last June, Brown University and SKKU Graduate School of Governance made an agreement for a joint education program, where graduate students of Brown University Public Administration take some courses at SKKU. Due to this agreement, 8 students from Brown University visited Korea during August. This program will last for 3 years, until 2018.
