The '3rd South East Asia Sungkyun Writing Contest' was held at Vietnam Hanoi. 62 students from 15 universities of 4 countries in the region participated, in this year's event, to test their honed Korean wrting skills.
The Sungkyun Writing Contest began in 2007 at Beijing and ever since then SKKU has been hosting the contest every year in various destinations from central asia(Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikstan), Southeast Asia(Vietnam, combodia, laos) to Europe(Hungary).
The aim of the contest is to expand understaning of Korea abroad in communities where the interest toward Korea has ever been growing, while propagating the Korean literary system, Hangul, and promoting opportunities for Korean learning.
