SKKU was one of 15 four-year private universities in Korea with an investment level in students four times higher than their tuition fees.
The information came out on Nov. 3 when the Ministry of Education announced their Financial/Accounting Index of Private Universities. This index processes the data published at the website University Allimi, consisting of nine indicators including education investment, financial stability, corporate responsibility. Levels of investment are divided from level 1 (very insufficient) to 5 (excellent).
According to the index, 14 universities including SKKU reinvest their money toward education at a rate that quadruples their tuition (394.5 percent) and received an excellent grade in the field of Returning Rate of Education Fee.
