Aired on SBS Hope TV at Sep. 29 Mon. 5:15 p.m.

Dream With, a SBS special donation project, roots for children’s dreams and hopes.

Sosa Community Child Center which is located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, is an exclusive youth center with about 20 middle and high school students. Its mood differs from other child community centers. Young children are interested in their appearance and are very sensitive to other people’s views. The mentor group Secret Basement from SKKU's Department of Film, TV and Multimedia visited the center with hope that the children can learn healthy play culture and how to communicate with society.

Together, the mentor group and children from the community center will organize the program, named Making Film. The mentor group tried to give the opportunity to experience the process of filmmaking for children who otherwise only serve as passive spectators of the media.

Children started to have fun after familiarizing themselves with the filming equipment. The children who were half-hearted opened their minds and changed their attitudes. To shoot a full-scale movie, the children and mentors went to Jebu Island together for one night and two days. Everyone got to know each other as they worked on everything from location scouting, shooting, acting, direction and other filmmaking tasks.

After two months of post-production, a screening was held to show the movie made by the children. This filmmaking project formed meaningful memories as the mentor group and children discussed together and worked hard together.

The noisy story of the mentor group and the children will be broadcast on Oct. 29 at 17:35 on the program Most Beautiful Travels in the World on SBS TV.
