The delegation headed by Taiwanese Education Minister Wu, Sehwa. along with 5 other high ranking education representative will be visiting SKKU on Sept. 22nd. Other notable members of the delegation are Education ministry higher-education committee member Zhu, Jun-zhang and National Chengchi University Executive Vice President Cai Lian-kang.

With the primary focus being the university collaboration between Taiwanese universities and SKKU, the delegation will be visiting SKKU Natural Science Campus from 15:30 to discuss on ways for actual exchange and cooperation. They will also be touring the campus to learn about the achievements of SKKU and visit facilities including the Institute for Basic Science (IBS), Semi-conductor Hall, BASF R&D Center and other university-industry collaboration facilities. 

Remarking on the visit, SKKU president Kim, Jun-young said “it will be an opportunity for an in-depth discussion on Korean and Taiwanese education and university-industry collaboration. Active interchange between universities of both countries will promote academic research as well as progress for the regions’ universities.

Minister Wu served as the president of National Chengchi University and also received an honorary doctorate degree from SKKU.
