On 2012 DEC 20 (Thu), visitors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), including Graduate School Executive Dean Du Zhaohui, visited SungKyunKwan University (SKKU). The visitors met In Man Song, Vice President of SKKU Humanities and Social Sciences Campus, and discussed ways of expanding practical exchange operations between SKKU and SJTU. Also, they shared a need for student exchange, especially through the Campus Asia Project which is associated with law school. As a result, SKKU and SJTU agreed to actively promote student exchange in the future.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is a world prestigious university, ranked #125 in the 2012 QS World University Rankings, having MOUs with SKKU School of Business and College of Information and Communication Engineering. Campus Asia, which started on 2012, is a scholarship/student exchange program between three countries (Korea, China, Japan). SKKU Law School is currently operating Campus Asia program throughout consortium with Renmin University of China, SJTU, Tsinghua University in China and Nagoya University in Japan.
