Group of students from Waseda University, Japan led by Professor Shin’ichi Hirota visited Sungkyunkwan University Seoul Campus on September 12, 2012. These students are from the School of Commerce majoring in financial management. As part of seminar course, the students prepared security analysis report to present in front of SKKU students and professor. 30 students from HI-Club and other student organizations came to join the meeting at International Hall.
Following the introduction to both universities, Waseda students presented their report. SKKU students shared their ideas and asked questions in return. Also, Prof. Jongbom Chay from SKKU Business School joined the seminar to give comments about the presentations.
Prof. Hirota said “It is an invaluable experience for our students to be able to interact with Korean students and also get feedback from professor Chay.”
After the seminar, the students had opportunity to visit the Old Sungkyunkwan Campus to better understand the history and tradition of Korean higher education.
