The purpose behind this visit is to benchmark SKKU’s know-how on international exchange and internationalization administration as well as sharing ideas on international exchange in higher education. The faculty of team leaders, who are in charge of administration in international affairs at 8 universities within the United States such as Texas A&M University, University of South Carolina, University of Colorado, Georgetown University, are selected by the Fulbright Program to visit SKKU.
Beginning with an introduction of SKKU’s internationalization through a 3 hours meeting in the form of a seminar, an in-depth discussion on higher education international exchange under the theme of “Campus Asia: Korea, China, and Japan", "SKKU International Summer Semester", "International Student Services: Centralized or De-Centralized?" followed.
Prior to the meeting, visitors participated in the Sungkyunkwan tour which presents SKKU’s long standing history and its meaning as the oldest higher educational institution existing in Korea
