(Neuromeka) CEO Park Jong-hoon Donates 100 Million Won to the Development Fund for the Intelligent Robotics Department



Neuromeka (represented by CEO Park Jong-hoon) has donated 100 million won as a lump sum to the university development fund (named: Intelligent Robotics Department Development Fund).


CEO Park Jong-hoon of Neuromeka announced the donation at the fund delivery ceremony held on the 23rd (Tues) at the 1st meeting room of the Natural Science Campus, stating, "I have contributed 100 million won to the development fund to support joint research for solving challenges in the field of intelligent robots."


Established in 2013, Neuromeka is a leading robotics unicorn company in South Korea, leading K-robots in the world through automation of production lines and robotics automation in the F&B sector.


At the fund delivery ceremony, Choi Jae-bung, Vice President of the Natural Science Campus, Kim Tae-sung, Dean of the College of Engineering, Moon Hyeong-pil, Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department, and Shin Hyeon-dae, Director of Information and Communication/Software Convergence/College of Engineering Administration, attended and presented a plaque of appreciation, making it a meaningful occasion.


Vice President Choi Jae-bung said, "We expect that Neuromeka's generous donation will greatly contribute to the newly established development of the Intelligent Robotics Department," and stated, "In accordance with CEO Park Jong-hoon's intentions, our university will lead research in the future field of intelligent robotics."


Meanwhile, Suwon City, Sungkyunkwan University, and Neuromeka signed a business agreement on December 11th regarding the development of talent based on the Intelligent Robotics Living Lab, creating even stronger cooperation through this donation.
