Professor Won Sun Paek from the Graduate School of Business Administration won the Accounting Research Award at the 50th-anniversary celebration of the Korean Accounting Association
Professor Won Sun Paek, of the Graduate School of Business Administration, received the Accounting Research Award at the 50th-anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Korean Accounting Association held at Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, on the 19th.
During his tenure at our university, Professor Paek has published a total of 40 papers in two academic journals published by the Korean Accounting Association, including 36 papers in accounting research and 4 papers in accounting journals. Additionally, he was honored with the Accounting Research Award for his contributions to the academic development of the association by serving as the editorial chairman of accounting research in 2008.
During the same ceremony, Mr. Jong-kyu Yoon, Chairman of KB Financial Group, and an alumnus of our university, was awarded the 50th Anniversary Accounting Award for his contributions to the development of the accounting industry and practices. He was recognized for establishing transparency and reliability in corporate infrastructure and culture, as well as for his exemplary management of accounting systems and external support, demonstrating significant social contributions.
