Hosts 'Inner Odyssey' Metaverse Exhibition

AI Convergence and Open Sharing System (led by Vice President Jae-hyun Kim of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus) and the Global Convergence School are hosting the metaverse exhibition 'Inner Odyssey' in collaboration with SK Telecom's ifland.

In this exhibition, our university students will showcase 38 artworks, exploring how AI technology can be utilized in art and creativity. Visitors can experience a special exhibition where students' creativity is combined with virtual space. The exhibition will be open until August 31st through the ifland app.

The theme of this exhibition, 'Inner Odyssey,' emphasizes the interaction between humans and AI, delivering the message that AI should be used as a tool to enrich human creativity and artistic expression, rather than being feared or worried about its development.

The exhibition is composed of four themes: △Ego, △Love, △Journey, and △Fiction. Visitors can appreciate the artworks within the application and experience new possibilities and a fantastical world of digital art.

Jointly prepared by Sungkyunkwan University and SK Telecom, this metaverse exhibition opened on June 7th and will run until August 31st. Visitors can access and view the exhibition by searching for 'Sungkyunkwan University' in the ifland app or through the provided link.

Vice President Jae-hyun Kim stated, "Through this exhibition, we hope to encourage students' creativity and collaboration with AI technology, and present a new perspective and inspiration in the metaverse space through the convergence of artificial intelligence and content. We hope this exhibition becomes an opportunity to increase interest and understanding in the field of artificial intelligence."
