3)담당연구

o Investigating the mechanism of BBB-penetrating peptides using cell biological approaches and in vivo animal model

o 본 연구실에서는 BBB-penetrating peptide를 design하여 기존 뇌 약물전달에 한계를 극복하고 새로운 약물전달 시스템을 개발하고자 합니다. Peptide기반 Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) 투과 시스템은 아미노산 서열을 기반으로 design되었으며 basic cell biology approach와 동물모델의 real-time neurovascular imaging을 통해 그 투과성을 입증하였습니다. 이에 본 연구를 함께 연구할 Post doc을 모집하고자 합니다. 동물모델을 통한 약문전달 연구에 경험이 풍부하고 in vitro cell test에 익숙한 박사연구원을 모집합니다. 또한 immunohistology, multiphoton microscopy, in vivo imaging tool을 이용한 동물 실험 분석에 경험이 있는 분을 우대합니다.

o 본 연구실은 BBB-penetrating peptide design연구뿐 아니라 단백질 생체 재료를 사용한 Brain 및 신체 주요기관의 생체 신호 검지, CRISPR/Cas9 system 개발, 인공 항체 개발 등 여러 연구를 활발히 진행중에 있습니다. 더 자세한 정보는 본 연구실 홈페이지(www.yhproteinlab.com)를 참조해 주십시오.

The laboratory of Dr. Yong Ho Kim is seeking to fill a postdoc fellow positions to conduct research on investigating the mechanism of BBB-penetrating peptides.


Dr. Kim’s lab has been exploring the novel protein design based on computational modeling and validate the protein structures with structural biology and computational approaches. In this project, Dr. Kim’s lab has developed a series of BBB-penetrating peptides as delivery platforms for multiple drugs and neuroimaging agents. The efficacy of penetration rate has been examined via basic in vitro cell assay and in vivo real-time neurovascular imaging. Qualifications for the position is required to have extensive research experience in in the studies of delivering drugs in animal models and able to utilize immunohistology, multiphoton microscopy and in vivo imaging tools. Prior knowledge in molecular biology, cell biology, and neuroscience is desirable. The postdoctoral fellow will be an integral team member of Dr. Minah Suh’s lab, the neurovascular imaging team in the Center for Neuroscience Imaging Research (CNIR), IBS.
