◈ 외국인 유학생 튜터링이란?

각 전공 과목에서 A 이상 학점을 받은 튜터(외국인 유학생, 한국인 학생)와 전공과목에서 도움을 받고자 하는 튜티(외국인 유학생)가 그룹학습을 할 수 있도록 매칭하고 지원하는 전공학습력 강화 프로그램입니다.

◈신청방법

  1) 신청과목: 이번 학기 개설 전공과목

  2) 신청자격 및 링크

    - 튜터 신청자격: 신청 전공과목의 취득 성적이 A 이상인 학사과정 외국인 유학생 및 한국인 학생

    - 튜티 신청자격: 이번 학기 전공과목을 수강하는 학사과정 외국인 유학생

   ※ 2과목 이상 신청하는 것도 가능하며, 이 경우 희망 전공 과목별로 신청서를 각각 작성하여야 합니다. (예를 들어, 3개 강좌에 대해 신청하는 경우 3개의 신청서를 작성해서 제출해야 함)

  3) 모집기간: 2024년 3월 7일(목) ~ 3월 13일(수)

  4) 선정발표: 2024년 3월 19일(화) 튜터링 선정 결과 발표
      ※ 외국인유학생지원팀 홈페이지(oiss.skku.edu) 공지 및 선정자 개별 통보 예정

◈활동기간

  - 2024년 3월 ~ 6월 21일(금)

◈활동기준

  - 8회, 8시간 이상 튜터링 (+매회 활동보고서 작성)

◈이수혜택

  1) 활동지원금: 매회 참석인원 1인당 최대 1만원 지원(실제 모임에 참석한 튜터와 튜티 인원)

  2) 튜터
  -인성품 교내봉사시간 인정
  -인성품 교내봉사시간을 선택하지 않을 경우 아르바이트비 지급(튜터링 시간 × 2만원)  

◈유의사항

  1) 지원 자격에 위배되는 경우에는 튜터/튜티 선정이 취소될 수 있습니다.

  2) 튜터는 튜터링 활동 전에 외국인유학생지원팀의 오리엔테이션에 참석하셔야 합니다.(튜터에게 개별 안내)

  3) 튜터링 배정 결과는 튜터 및 튜티 신청 여부, 전공과목 유/무, 난이도 등에 따라 결정됩니다.

  4) 우수튜터에게는 국제처장 명의의 우수튜터 증서가 제공됩니다.

◈ What is Tutoring Program for International Students?

It is a major learning ability program that matches and supports tutors (international students & Korean students) who have received A or A+ in each major course and tutees (international students) who want to get help in their major courses through group learning.

◈ Application Details

1) Courses to be applied: Major courses which are being offered in this semester

2) Application qualifications and links

- TUTOR Requirement: 1. should have achieved an A or A+ for the course that he/she would like to apply for, 2. can only apply for the courses that are offered in this semester. (both international and Korean students can apply)

※ Students can apply for more than two courses, and in this case, you must fill out separate application forms for each course. (e.g. in case you apply for 3 courses, you need to submit 3 application forms)

3) Application Period: March 7 (Thu), 2024 to March 13 (Wed), 2024 

4) Matching Result Announcement: March 19, 2024 (Please check the announcement on the website of Office of International Student Services)

◈ Tutoring Period

- from March to June 21, 2024

◈ Tutoring Standards

-  8 tutoring sessions (8 hours or more) + Written Activity Report Submission (1 report for 1 tutoring session)
- Total activity time should be more than 8 hours.

◈ Benefits of Completion

1) Activity Support Fund: Maximum KRW 10,000 per person (tutor and tutee) for each tutoring session.

2) For TUTOR
- Tutoring hour can be recognized as in-school service hours (인성품)
- Part-time job  allowance will be provided if you do not select in-school service hours(봉사시간) (part-time job  allowance = tutoring hours x 20,000 won)

◈ Precautions

1) If your application qualification is violated, the tutor/tutee selection may be cancelled.

2) Tutors must attend the orientation offered by the OISS(Office of International Student Services) before the tutoring activity.  (※ The orientation schedule will be announced individually)

3) The tutoring matching result will be decided by tutor/tutee/courses application results and the difficulty of the courses.

4) Excellent tutors will be provided with a Certificate of Excellent Tutor Award.
