Inbound Exchange/Visiting Program

Online Application System

SKKU receives Exchange and visitng student program applications using an online system; students are not asked to submit paper forms. All supporting documents are also to be attached to the online application form electronically in either PDF or JPEG format, while a hardcopy may be requested if needed.

* The online application system works best on Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome on Microsoft Windows.

Application period

  • - Spring Semester: October 1st ~ October 31st
  • - Fall Semester: April 1st ~ April 30th
  • * Late applications may not be accepted; please make an enquiry to the officer in charge if necessary.

Application Eligibility

  • Must be officially nominated by an institution that has an exchange agreement with SKKU
  • Must have completion of at least one year of study and be continuing towards a degree at the student's home institution
  • GPA (Grade Point Average) above 2.5 / 4.0 or 3.0 / 4.5 or 3.3 / 5.
  • Language requirement for Business Administration majors: one from TOEFL(iBT 80 or above/ITP 550 or above), IELTS(6.0 or above),
    English CEFR(B2 or above), CET(4 or above) TOPIK(3 or above) or Duolingo English Test(110 or above).
    * The certificate should be an official, valid one issued by the testing institution.
      We would NOT accept a certificate that is expired or issued by the home university/language institution of a student.
    * Not required for students who meet at least one of the following:  
      1) Native speakers
      2) Students other than Business Administration major
      3) Applicants with undergraduate/graduate degrees from institutions in which English is the primary language of instruction

Required Documents

  • Photograph of student (3x4 cm preferred)
  • Photocopy of valid passport with personal identification page
  • Certificate of scholarship beneficiary (only for graduate students doing research)
  • Transcript with cumulative academic record for all courses taken
  • Letter of support from an SKKU academic who has agreed to be supervisor during the student's stay (only for graduate students doing research)

Acceptance Package

After getting all required documents, SKKU Office of International Relations will ask students with eligibility to submit bank statement or scholarship document, etc., as a proof of living expense in accordance with the Korean Immigration regulation. With confirmation of the bank statement, SKKU’s Office of International Relations will send each accepted exchange student a package which includes a Certificate of Admission, Letter of Acceptance and Certificate of Business Registration.
