The 5th Seoul Foreign Student Volunteers Recruitment Notice

□ Seoul Foreign Student Volunteers Overview
 * Number of Recruits : 70 people
 * Eligibility
   - Foreign students enrolled in universities located in Seoul 
    *Graduate students are also eligible to apply
   - Visa must be valid until December 31st 2017
 * Period : 2017.3.1. ~ 2017.12.31.
 * Main Activities (Mandatory)
   - Teach foreign languages, cultures, etc. to children in island areas (online) 
   - Participate in volunteer work events with other volunteers 1~2 times within the given period
   - Provide assistance at Gwanghwamun Plaza Flea Market by translating, cleaning, etc more than twice within the given period
   - Seoul City Tour (1 time)
 * Special Benefits
   -「KT(Korea Telecom) Dreamschool Global Mentoring」Scholarship 
    *Conditions : Teach foreign languages, cultures, etc. to children in island areas through online
                  ⇒ one hour per lesson, two lessons per week for 7months (April-October) 
 * Major Events : Orientation (3.10), Mentor-Mentee Connection Ceremony (between March~April),
                   Mentoring Exchange Camp (between May~October), Closing Ceremony (Dec.)
    ※ Most of these events will be held on Fridays, and it’s mandatory attendance for all the events 
       The schedule may be subject to change

□ Application and Selection Guide
 * 1st : Document Screening
   - Application period : 2017.2.1(Wed) ~ 2017.2.14(Tue)
     ※ We will only consider applications submitted on time
   - Required Documents
    *Application-1(required), Application-2(required), Certificate of Enrollment(required), TOPIK score (optional) ;    one copy of each documents
   - How to Submit : email submission of electronic files
                       (accepted file types : applications - hwp, xls / certificates - jpg, pdf) 
   - Submit to : global_intern@seoul.go.kr
   - Screening Criteria : positivity towards volunteering, TOPIK score, nationality, etc.
   - Number selected : 105 volunteers
   - Announcement of First Round Results : 2017.2.20(Mon) through email or text message
  * 2nd : Interview
   - Date & Time : 2017.2.28(Tue) at 10:00~18:00
   - Method : Interview with each individual department 
 * Announcement of Final Results : 2017.3.6(Mon) by email and text message

『제5기 서울시 외국인 유학생 자원봉사단』 모집 공고 

□ 서울시 외국인 유학생 자원봉사단 개요
  * 선발인원 : 외국인 유학생 70명
  * 신청자격
    - 서울 소재 대학·대학원에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생
    - 국내 체류기간이 2017년 12월 31일까지 유효한 자
  * 활동기간 : 2017.3.1 ~ 2017.12.31
  * 주요 활동(필수)
    - 도서산간지역(임자도, 백령도, 청학동 등) 초등학생 대상 온라인 외국어학습, 문화이해 수업  
    - 광화문 희망나눔장터 통역, 청소 등 행사지원 2회 이상
    - 제5기 서울시 유학생 봉사단이 함께 협의하여 결정한 기획 봉사활동 1회 이상 등
    - 「KT(Korea Telecom) 드림스쿨 글로벌 멘토링」 장학금 지급
      ※ 조 건 : 도서산간지역 초등학생 대상 온라인 외국어학습, 문화이해 수업
        ⇒ 1회당 1시간, 주2회, 7개월간(4월~10월)
    - 서울 시정견학 1회
  * 주요일정 : 오리엔테이션(3.10), 멘토링 결연식(3~4월), 멘토링 교류캠프(5~10월), 수료식(12월)  
     ※ 주요일정은 대부분 ‘금요일’입니다. 상기일정은 필수 참석이며, 변경 될 수 있습니다


 □ 지원방법 및 선발안내
  * 1차 서류심사
    - 신청(접수)기간 : 2017.2.1(수) ~ 2017.2.14(화) 
      ※ 기간 내 도착 서류에 한하여 접수
    - 제출서류 : 신청서-1(필수), 신청서-2(필수), 재학증명서(필수), 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 
                점수(선택) 각 1부
    - 제출방법 : 신청서-hwp,xls / 증명서-jpg,pdf 형식으로 이메일 제출
    - 제출주소 : global_intern@seoul.go.kr
    - 선발기준 : 자원봉사 활동의지, TOPIK 점수, 국적 등 종합 판단
    - 선발인원 : 105명
    - 결과발표 : 2017.2.20(월), 이메일 및 휴대폰 문자로 개별 통보
  * 2차 면접심사
    - 면접일시 : 2017.2.28(화) 10:00~18:00 예정
    - 심사방법 : 조별 면접
  * 최종 합격자 통보 : 2017.3.6(월)
