The 21st President Dong-Ryeol Shin was inaugurated. Newly opened Student Success Center to promote university innovation for student success and laid the groundwork for fostering human resources of Artificial Intelligence with newly opened AI(Artificial Intelligence) Graduate School and the AI vision strategy declaration ceremony. Selected as NO.1 private university in Jung-Ang Ilbo University Evaluation, Ranked 89th in Times Higher Education(THE) University Rankings and 95th in QS World University Rankings.

By proactively responding to the COVID-19 pandemic with advanced educational infrastructure, lectures were delivered in a safe environment. Ranked NO.1 private university by recording the highest number of selected educational research teams (32) in 4 step BK21 projects, and successfully operated first Challenge Semester with 5,500 participants. Newly opened Quantum Information Research Support Center to promote fostering high-quality human resources in Quantum Information sector. Received a special award in Korea Artificial Intelligence Awards for the excellence of research and education of artificial intelligence.
