P-SAT Won the Grand Prize in the 2021 Big Contest

SKKU’s Statistical Analysis Association, P-SAT (Supervisor: Chan-Min Kim) that consists of SKKU’s students majoring in statistics, awarded a total of 12 prizes in the data analysis contests, including the 2021 Big Contest.

Last year, P-SAT received awards in the Big-Contest Futures League, Mirae Asset Big Data Festival, Financial Data Contest, NH Investment Security Big Data Contest, Korea Performing arts box office Information System Big Data Analysis Contest, and etc.

Ye-Bin Yeom, an awardee of the Mirae Asset Big Data Festival and Financial Data Contest, and the member of P-SAT, said, “Since it was a large-scale contest, I didn’t expect to receive an award. But I’m so happy that I won such a big award. While preparing the contest, the analysis process I learned at the association was of great help.”

The mandatory activity period of the P-SAT is one year, and new academic members are recruited every semester. Currently, it is recruiting 29th member (students majoring in statistics).
