SKKU established an advisory panel to support companies experiencing difficulties after Japan’s implementation of export regulation. It will provide technology and equipment to the companies by making use of the R&D achievements within the university.

The panel members include Prof. Byungduk CHOI (semiconductors/display), Prof. Soojung SEO (advanced materials), Prof. Yongsuk KIM (IoT and Smart Factory), Prof. Changsuk SUK (Automobile and mechanics), Prof. Sangjeon JUNG (pharmaceutics), Prof. Jihyung LEE (AI) and Prof. Jongsuh CHAE (electronic & electricity). The director of the advisory panel is Vice-President Sungjin SONG. Each professor from different backgrounds will provide direct assistance to the companies.

Once the team receives a request for assistance, it will review the request and match the company with the appropriate professor to look for a solution. Direct Sungjin SONG said, “SKKU has a strong network with conglomerates and local companies since years ago. SKKU advisory panel will not only provide advices but provide a total service in every direction to help companies in trouble.”
