A FinTech Research & Education for Global Leaders in Financial Innovation (Director: Professor Kyo-jik Song) conducts dual degree program through agreements with overseas university.

Department of FinTech of the SKKU Graduate School recently signed a dual degree agreement with Master of Science in Business Analysis of University of South Carolina, and five master's students of Department of FinTech (3 full-time/2 Part-time) will take classes at UofSC from the spring semester (on January) of 2022. Last year, by the BK21 project, the Department of FinTech was selected as the only one Fintech education research team in Korea with the aim of fostering professional talents to lead the innovation in the rapidly changing financial industry due to the development of digital technology.

Meanwhile, at the Fintech internship held in June, one of eight master's students in the Department of FinTech was converted to full-time worker starting from September. With the agreement in the Industry-University Collaboration with Seoul Fintech lab, Fintech internship is a program that allows students to conduct internship at the start-up companies that are affiliated with the Fintech Lab for eight weeks in the fields of commercialization strategies, marketing, and management support and to obtain credits. Soo-hyun Kim, a master’s degree in Department of FinTech who was converted to permanent worker in this program, said, "It was the most important experience in the Fintech industry, and I gained valuable practical work experience through performing various tasks during the summer vacation." In addition to master's students, a number of undergraduate students from the Department of Business Administration and Global Business Administration of SKKU also participated in this Fintech internship.
