Imnewrun Biosciences Delivers Development Funds for Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences and Technology 

Imnewrun Biosciences (CEO: Hanju Kim) visited the office of President at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus and delivered 100 million won (including 50 million won contract) of development funds for Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences and Technology (SAIHST) on May 4 (Tue).


At the delivery ceremony, President Dong-Ryeol Shin, Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs Young Hyuk Lim, Dean of SAIHST Yeop Yoon, Vice President of External Affairs Sungwoo Ji, Director of SAIHST Deok Cho attended from Sungkyunkwan University. Additionally, CEO Hanju Kim, Vice President Min-Ah Seo, Yong-Ho Kim, and Jae-Chul Lee attended from Imnewrun Biosciences.

Through the presentation of fund-raising status report, Dean Yeop Yoon said, “On September 2, 2020, the SAIHST and Imnewrun Biosciences signed an MOU for basic medical research and new drug development, including brain disease (CNS), genetic disease, and to build a bioecosystem. They plan to carry out joint development through various collaborations by possessing original technologies in the field of CNS treatment and collaborating with Samsung Medical Center, and performing as a bridgehead for brokerage research and clinical field study.”


At the greeting speech, CEO Hanju showed his ambition by saying “As a true convergence model, not a strategic collaboration with university, Imnewrun Biosciences wants to become a true global leading company through new innovations. In addition, I would like to continue to contribute to the endless development of both organizations in the future.”


The Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs Young Hyuk Lim said, “Imnewrun has many advantages of developing special industry-university collaboration based on schools and hospitals. I hope this collaboration bring success and positive outcomes by actively utilizing these advantages.”

President Dong-Ryeol Shin said, “I appreciate Imnewrun Biosciences’s generous donation. I feel reliable because there are CEO Hanju Kim, who has excellent leadership, and Vice President Min-Ah Seo, Yong-Ho Kim, and Jae-Chul Lee, who are excellent in research, at Imnewrun Biosciences. As the president of Sungkyunkwan University, I will put my effort to support two organizations to further develop through active cooperation.”
