Researchers from University of Tokyo, Seoul National University, Samsung Seoul Hospital, Johns Hopkins University and National Institute of Health gave presentations about the most recent researches on medical care using big data. Prof. Haekwan JUNG, the director of CenBDS explained, “The use of data science in the era of information revolution is indispensable for the development of medical studies. It is important to train and research in this field as it will converge with other fields of study.” SKKU is currently leading the education of AI-Big Data convergent experts by establishing relevant schools and courses.The establishment of CenBDS is also another sign that SKKU is the leading institution for the development of AI and big data researches.
