This substance is called “roridin E” and it has anti-carcinogenic effect 500 times stronger than the doxorubicin which is well-known for its use in curing breast cancer.

The joint research team extracted 8 natural substances from the podostroma cornu-damae and proved anti-carcinogenic effect from 5 substances.

The team newly named 3 substances discovered from this research as “miophytocen D”, “Roridin F” and “Satratoxin I”.

This research has been selected as the cover of world-renowned journal, “Journal of Natural Products”.
