Ministry of Education, National Research Foundation of Korea and Korea Basic Science Institute has chosen 22 institutes in the field of engineering for the concentrated research project this year.
The purpose of the project is to strengthen research capability of the universities by raising young researchers in the selected research institutes.
SKKU’s Basic Science Research Institute and Advanced Materials Institute has been chosen for this project. The total amount of funding for the 22 institutions is KRW 13,900,000,000.
