The Maekyung Shenzhen-Hong Kong Forum was held for 3 days starting May 21st. Governors, entrepreneurs and finance man from Korea and China were invited to this forum. On the first day, key figures from the political and financial sector visited the headquarter of Huawei Corporation to exhibit its technology such as IoT (internet of things).
The main event was held on May 22nd at the Shangri-La Hotel. Participants discussed about the importance of Korea-China economic cooperation and called for support from the regional governments in Guangdong and Shenzhen.
Prof. Yongjune KIM (President of Korea Society of Business) made the second keynote speech in the forum about “business philosophy of China’s major corporations”. Prof.KIM is a notable expert of Chinese business in Korea who is currently the Dean of Graduate School of China at SKKU. He has been a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University.
