Two Colleges selected for the “Innovative Global Talent Development Program” 2019.04.03

SKKU College of Engineering and College of Information and Communication Engineering have been selected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for the “Innovative Global Talent Development Program”. The period of the program is from April 2019 to December 2020 and the total expenditure is around 2.5 bn Won. The director of the program is Prof. Donghwan KIM (Dept of Chemical Engineering) and 10 foreign institutions will participate to cooperate in developing innovative global talents.


The purpose of this program is to raise global talents in the “10 Innovative Growth criteria”* by conducting projects and joint R&D with top research institutions.


*10 Innovative Growth criteria: smart ship, robot, 3D printing, future automobile, auto flight device, intellectual semiconductor, industrial embedded software, smart factory, engineering, and innovative design.


This program will support post-graduate students or students who have graduated within the last 7 years for a year-long research and training at an overseas instituition.
