2019 Entrance ceremony was held at the Suseonggwan, Natural Sciences campus on February 27th.
President and academic board members visited the temple of Confucius to perform “goyurye” (traditional Confucian ceremony) prior to the entrance ceremony.
In the ceremony, freshman students threw the “paper plane of hope” and watched the video clips of famous alumni and the parent representative.
In this year’s ceremony, student Isroilova Guzalkhon from Uzbekistan recited the “cheonghakmun” (request for teaching) along with another Korean student.
Prof. Hongjun YOO (Vice President of Humanities Campus) said, “This ceremony will be a meaningful first step for new students to become a global-oriented and upright Sungkyun talent.”
