Pakistan Embassy members visited SKKU for a meeting with students 2019.02.21

On February 14th, Pakistani Ambassador Rahim Hayat QURESHI and the producers of ‘1 day with GEO’ (a famous TV program in Pakistan) visited the Natural Sciences campus to have a meeting with Vice-President Sungjin SONG and 70 Pakistani students studying at SKKU.

They visited the campus to examine rapid development of the university and to film the life at the Natural Sciences campus where most of the Pakistani students study. It will be televised all over Pakistan. 

Ambassador QURESHI said, “Graduates from SKKU become excellent researchers and go back to Pakistan to work as professors. Many students prefer to study at SKKU.” Vice-President SONG also said, “Student from Pakistan are one of top students on campus. We will do our best to train the students to become successful in many different areas.”

There are currently 150 Pakistani students enrolled in SKKU. It is one of the universities that has the most number of government sponsored students.
