Nam Gyu PARK, a professor of the School of Chemical Engineering at SungKwan University, was selected as the recipient of the '2018 Science Press Award'.
According to the Korea Science Journalists Association (KSJA), the association recently selected Professor PARK as a recipient of the "Scientist of the Year".
Professor PARK is a pinner in developing next-generation solar power by creating solid perovskite solar cells, which dramatically improved the disadvantages of existing solar cells, for the first time in the world.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Grand Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, in the afternoon of the November 29th.
