Among the 503 universities that were evaluated by the ‘Chosun Daily’ and ‘QS Asia University Ranking’ this year, 57 universities in Korea were included.
Looking at the rankings among Korean universities, KAIST and Seoul National University stayed in the first and second place, same as last year. Sungkyunkwan University ranked 15th in the rankings, three stairs up from 18th, and Yonsei University ranked 17th in rankings, two stairs up from last year. Hanyang University ranked 25th and Konkuk University ranked 19th in the survey this year, ranked in the Asia top 100 for the first time.
