Professor Sang Hoon BAE of the Department of Education will give a special lecture on October 17th as a keynote speaker at the EDUCA 2018, which is organized by the Thai Ministry of Education, Thai Teachers' Council, and Thai Korean Education Center and participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand.
EDUCA is Thailand's largest international event with about 300 teachers and educators from all over Thailand are gathered. It will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from October 17th to 19th, 2018.
Prof. BAE will give presentation with the subject of “What should be taught in the age of uncertainty: Korean Context.” He will focus on how education has contributed to the nation's economic and social development in the Korean society, and will discuss the direction of education and the policies of the government for the future.
On the following day, Prof. BAE will give a special lecture for 100 students at Chalanglong University, Thailand's most prestigious university.
Prof. BAE is the head of the Education Innovation Center at Sungkyunkwan University and is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Journal of Research on Extended Education.
