Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship Participates in the Chinese Start-up Seminar and IR Presentation 2018.08.22

Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship participated in the Chinese Start-up Seminar as well as IR presentation of graduate students, from Aug 16th (Thu) to 19th (Sun) in Shanghai, China.



At the Chinese Start-up Seminar, 20 students at the Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship participated in the event. They visited Chinese biggest IT companies Alibaba, and Tencent, as well as the large Korean investment company Neoply which have made their way to way to China, and Samsung Electronics industrial complex.


Mr. Mark LEE, Head of the Shanghai Tencent Start-up Incubation Center, and Dong Won SHIN, Head of Neoply China participated in IR presentation evaluation. They expressed their huge satisfaction and their will to make investment about weKare item which can early detect the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.


Today, Chinese young adults start-up market is very much vitalized with the udergraduate students’ start up ratio of 8% (Korea: 0.8%). Since 2015, Chinese government is trying to spread education and culture under the slogan ‘Start-up leads innovation’.

In order to learn this Chinese start-up culture, the Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship is operating Chinese Start-up Seminar, building networks with Chinese companies and public offices, and expecting to sign MOU with them.
