Prof. Nam-Gyu PARK at the school of chemicalpolymer engineering received awards from the Prime Minister and the Minister of Ministry of Science and ICT.
On July 11th, Prof. Nam-Gyu PARK won the Prime Minister's Award at 'Nona Korea 2018' held in KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province in the field of research innovation. He also received the commendation from minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT at the " 2018 Korea Climate Technology Competition" held at AT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul on Tuesday, July 18th.
Prof. Nam-Gyu PARK has been working for SKKU since 2009 and concentrating his study for the development of perovskite solar cells. In 2012, he invented the world's first solid perovskite solar cells. Due to his outstanding research performances, he was nominated as a potential Nobel Prize winner last year and is recognized as a leader in the field of renewable energy.
