Sponsored by the Research & Business Foundation and CAMPUS Asia project unit, SKKU-IEALP of the SKKU Law School (Dean: Man Kee MIN) invited Prof. Atsushi OMURA from University of Tokyo as a visiting professor to SKKU to provide special lectures with the theme of “Comparative Civil Law between Korea and Japan.”
The lecture was originally prepared as a part of Japanese law, one of the fields at the SKKU Law School. However, other students who are seeking master’s or doctoral degrees, students in the department of Global Leader, and CAMPUS Asia Project participants are also welcome to attend.
For students with a basic level of Japanese, interpretation will be provided. The lectures will take place in lecture room 207 of the Law School Building. The schedule is as follows:
- 1st lecture (1:00PM, Monday, March 26th): Civil society
- 2nd lecture (7:00PM, Tuesday, March 27th): Aging society and social disparities
- 3rd lecture (7:00PM, Wednesday, March 28th): Recession of living profit and acceleration of cession of an obligation
- 4th lecture (7:00PM, Thursday, March 29th): Article 10 of Customer Contract Law and the principles of precedents
- 5th lecture (7:00PM, Friday, March 30th): Constitutional law, social security act, and law of property
- 6th lecture (10:00AM, Saturday, March 31st): Liberalization of group foundation and liberty and equality of members
