YSU leaps to #183 … Only four domestic universities included in top 200
Evaluation of 5 indexes: Teaching, Research, Citation, Etc
According to the recent announcement of World’s Top 400 University 2012 by ‘THE’ (Times Higher Education), a world university ranking agency, 4 Korean universities were included in the top 200: Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) ranked #50, Seoul National University (SNU) ranked #59, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) ranked #68, Yonsei University (YSU) ranked #183. Meanwhile, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) leaped to #211 from last year’s #308, ranking 5th among Korean universities. Korea University (KU) showed little change from last year’s ranking #243 to #240 this year.
