The SKK Graduate School of Business (SKK GSB), led by Dean Chunwon Lee, will host a forum on "Trump 2.0 Energy Geopolitics" on March 20 at 1 PM at the university’s International Hall. The keynote speaker for this event will be Hyojae Kwon, CEO of COR Energy Insight.

Since 2023, SKK GSB has been organizing the "Investing in Climate, Investing in Growth" forum series to explore technologies and strategies that allow businesses to pursue environmental sustainability (E in ESG) without compromising profitability or competitiveness. This upcoming session marks the 7th installment of the series.

During the forum, CEO Kwon will discuss the major shifts in U.S. energy policy under a potential second Trump administration and examine how these changes could impact the global energy industry and international relations.

With over 24 years of experience in the energy sector, Kwon has built expertise through roles at Hanwha Ocean, Bosung Group, and other industry leaders.

Professor Youngju Nielsen, who has been leading the "Investing in Climate, Investing in Growth" forum series, emphasized the forum’s significance:

"Our forum aims to drive innovation in environmental technologies while ensuring that these advancements contribute to both corporate profitability and environmental value. Business leaders must understand that adopting such technologies and strategies is not just about sustainable management but also about achieving superior long-term performance. That is why we host this forum for SKK GSB MBA students and executives."

SKK GSB is Korea’s No.1 MBA program, offering all courses in English. It has been ranked among the world’s top 100 MBA programs for 14 consecutive years by the Financial Times (FT).
