Sungkyunkwan University Signs Four-Party MOU to Foster Future Talent in Advanced Industries Between Korea and Czech Republic
-The only comprehensive university in Korea to join the economic delegation, leading the cultivation of global talent
On September 20, Sungkyunkwan University signed a four-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Charles University, and Masaryk University in Prague, Czech Republic, during the 'Korea-Czech Industrial Energy Technology Forum'. The MOU aims to foster future talent in advanced industries. With support from KIAT, Sungkyunkwan University plans to dispatch postgraduate researchers in digital healthcare and advanced materials to Czech universities, promoting active international joint research between the two countries.

This signing ceremony took place during a business forum organized following President Yoon Suk Yeol’s visit to the Czech Republic, after Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power was selected as the preferred bidder for the Czech Republic’s new nuclear power plant project. Sungkyunkwan University was the only comprehensive university in Korea included in the economic delegation, with expectations to contribute to fostering specialized talent in advanced industries such as batteries and future automobiles.
