The connection between theory and practice is rarely more closer
than in that of the courses taught in the School of Life Science
and Natural Resources. The School's programs are designed to combine
classroom learning with hands-on experience in the "real world."
In the well equipped laboratories, the faculty and students devote
themselves to research on problems such as how to produce enough
food for the growing world population, or how to improve the quality
of life without upsetting the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
